Think Howe will only be short term. Some megastar manager will arrive in July provided Howe keeps them up.

Tbf Solanke is starting to finally show some worth (11 in 15) but id be interested to see if he can do it at PL level. Id hope at some point we could nip in for that Jordan Zemura the Bournemouth LB, defo a good player in the making there.

May I ask why in general Scousers don't like Geordies? Because from the bits I ve seen of them, thanks to the film I, Daniel Blake, they seemed like a decent bunch...is it that bad in the north? maybe it is not the locals but the supporters...

It`s a weird one, as most Geordies I`ve ever come across, by and large seem to be decent people, UNTIL you get them onto Newcastle Utd and they just instantly turn into the biggest bellends on the planet.

I think for Newcastle fans, this will be the first dose of reality they’ll get with Emery turning them down.

Ambitious going for Emery, but considering they were expecting Conte, it’ll be a wake up call. The next will be trying to attract good players being down there.

The longer they go without a win, the harder it’ll be to attract the players.

The mad thing is that you cross that bridge into Sunderland and the people are just as passionate about their team, but don’t turn into raving bellends when you mention footy.
