Never ever feel sorry for a football manger who get paid mega bucks and fail to be sacked and get every penny of their contract, then 3 months later jump back on the gravy train with another contract. Best job in the world being rewarded for failing.

Reading this back I was feeling bad for him but the “tactically inept cabbage head“ quote had me in stitches



Even though they get paid well being a football manager really is a thankless job unless you absolutely smash it, dunno why anyone would want to do it... well the money I guess but other than that god knows.

The money is unbelievable obviously and that’s the undeniable caveat to everything we all say but with so many of them , not all , you only have to look at how much they age in various jobs to see the impact it must have .
