They are scum - moan about Ashleys zero hour contracts yet not a peep about Saudi's awful regime because they can spend money.

The League has shot themselvee in the foot - imagine them winning a title or lifting a trophy at Wembley knowing where the dough has come from.

This + the ESL farce has absolutely destroyed any integrity English football had left.

Wont be long until they are playing games overseas and they'll go full circle.

But why have a really really, could buy anything, fund thing buy Newcastle?

I can get the "PL is great" thing. But if their intention is to turn a good profit, they have bought a club in the foothills of the global football pyramid. Sportwashing? Maybe, but £300m out of £380B is 5p to most of us.

Buy low, sell high? Ok, can get that. But I still cant get how the maths work, if they reckon £300m plus say £500m on players, to get a bit closer to the actual elite, works.

There going to struggle to attract players with out stupid wages. There train into grounds a mess, there in a terrible part of the country.
I don’t know why they didn’t buy Brentford. There a London club with a brand new stadium and in the PL. At least they get the players because it’s London
