As great as this news is, if it was Man Utd or Liverpool they were bidding for there would’ve been no issues for the Premier League in passing it through.

What you can read from this, on top of Newcastle being a pathetic championship tin pot club, who will never win anything;

1) The Saudi's have clearly been hit by the oil spending (remmeber the Geordie cretin telling us it would be "back to normal" in a eek about 3 months ago.) They will probably move away from investing into football as a result.

2) The PL will not be allowing them anywhere near any club after this. If they change their mind on point 1, they probably buy someone in Italy, France or Spin and make them a super power.
