Something just doesn’t seem right here.
I had a season ticket for Malaga for 10+ years and they’re backed by Qatari Sheikh’s who were clearly laundering money through the club, and when they finally got rumbled, they through their toys out the pram.
We’re in the second division, struggling to stay afloat, as all the money is ciphered out the club.
Feels oddly similar here, I don’t know why, just seems very odd.

Lukaku wasn’t even our first choice when we went to Chelsea for a loan player, we wanted Demba Ba then got offered him as an alternative
re: Lukaku, fair enough. Probably right to say retrospectively it looks like a statement signing.
Mind, some of the names being bandied about in the papers are mental. Dries Mertens, Arturo Vidal, better chance of siging Obafemi Martins and Matej Vydra

Ba was brilliant. Probably best all round striker we had since Shearer. Mental we let him go for £7m.
I think Mertens could be one that happens.
