If we get a result from this we should be buzzing about the potential this season. Newcastle are playing great right now, and are one of the only 3-4 realistic shots to break into the top 7.

Beating Newcastle in one game doesn't say anything about potential any more than beating United or Chelsea did last season. It would simply be 13 points from 11 games and a midtable position.

Irrespective of the result tonight, it's the games against Palace, Fulham, Leics, B'mouth, Wolves (all winnable) that'll be a more accurate barometer of where we're at and what kind of season it may be.
