I mean, i do have questions over the selections. However i dont think any of the alterantives would have done anything better. Gordon has done very little in top level games so far (although yes he does look a class above when playing lower opposition). Bernard and Iwobi generally do nothing either.

Comes down to having FOUR players out who would all start. Our ENTIRE attacking plan has gone out the window with a world class attacker out for the game, a world class left back suspended. A quality attacking wide forward stupidly being suspended and a solid RB who supports James injured as well.

I appreciate the job is much harder when there's a few players missing, however, that was stale in the first 45 and he waiting until Newcastle scored before even beginning to change it.

He's the manager, it's his job to find ways to win games with or without your best 2-3 players. There's no excuse for that shambolic showing against one of the worst sides in the league.

I am having to change my opinion on Michael Keane , his positioning this season is preventing him from being done for pace. When he has a bit of pace along side him with Holgate or Godfrey he will look even more solid. He has surprised me with his ability on the ball this season.

Never thought I would be posting that.

What has Carlo got against Gordon, when Too Soon and Iwoeful get on before him?

We played too slowly but then again movement of players ahead of the ball made it that way. Yet again prevent crosses or let Kenny try to cross and we have very little threat. With DCL up front we need width to get crosses in. Richarlison is missed so much. We need a rescue act in the Jan window or the season has a good chance of drifting away into nothingness once again. Shows how good Coleman really is and Digne.Too many injuries and suspensions for us to cope with.

I saw a game in the park yesterday where there was more skill, desire, running and shooting
Dreadful dreadful performance against another dreadful team

Yep. Nothing new. A braindead pen from Gomes, Mina a turn like my grand-father, Keane surely the worst central defender in the world (LOL) and no player able to sprint faster then 15 seconds on 100m.
The man came from behind him and no intent on the contact whatsoever. Where was the pressure on Wilson from whichever clown let him go?

I knew going into it with 4 of our better players missing we would struggle, as most teams would. But even then I'm disappointed with what was just a boring display, we didn't even go near the goals until stoppage time.
