Get Kean off now. The way he´s playing at the moment isn´t good enough to be starting matches. If he needs a run of games, it should be at U23 level.

He doesn’t do enough when he is without the ball. The contrast between him and Dcl.

Apart from them hitting the post, I think we aborbed the pressure pretty well for the most part. Midfield was ineffective in the last 20 so could see Delph coming on for a striker at some point.

Would like to see Bernard too, players like him can take the sting out of an opposition rush of blood by just holding the ball and frustrating them

I think we’d have all loved him to start honestly. It’s always about fitness with Bernard though. Guy just runs himself into the ground every time he plays. Not sure he gets a look in unless it’s late. Would love to see him on the pitch though

Our shape looked decent defensively at one point. But as soon as we started flapping we were allowing Newcastle to rag us all over the place.
Sidebe been caught out of position a number of times on the right.
