Yeah I agree but there are times when you have to go long. Prime example they score it gets disallowed then we try to play out from the back straight after inciting pressure and Sidibe Takes his eye of the ball goes out for a throw. And since that Newcastle have been on top.

1st half went as one would expect looking at our lineup. 2 strikers + Walcott + Richarlison + Siggurdson..... very attacking minded lineup and we are not the home team....

Our defence needs more protection than what it's getting from Davies and Siggy. Not sure why Coleman was dropped, Sidibé looked the business when he was played farther forward

Big issue is Gomes and Gbamin are the 1st choice and both are goosed.

Eventually we will have Sigurdsson, Schniederlin, Gomes, Gbamin, Davies and Delph. With Holgate able to step in.

Better with a brilliant CH signing who can lead the team.

Yes mate, goes without saying. A dominant CH is an absolute MUST. Someone who breeds confidence and authority. I know it's easier said than done to procure such a creature lol Build from the back. But we need a reliable midfield general as well. Gbamin is unproven, Gomes is miles away from being fit and ready for action so we cannot wait around.

'course. We were decent first 20 minutes and we took the lead when on top, and have kept them out when they were on top.

I know it's more likely we lose than win at this point looking at how the game has progressed but given we have a midfield made out of paper we haven't been that bad.
