DCL Holgate and Richarlison were the standouts, really good all-round strikers performance from DCL, lovely and important little sequences from Richie, and great steel from Holgate. Loving Holgate's attitude, there's more than a hint of of snide about Holgate. Well lids, December wasn't that bad after all

Made up with that win but some things that pleased me in particular:

Not going to bits when we conceded.

Making tactical changes that actually had an effect on the game.

The fact that there was barely any action of note after we decided to close the game out.

Early days, and form often goes out the window at this time of year but I’m cautiously optimistic.

We're now 2 points off where we were after the same stage last season (27). We're also 5 points off 5th and 7 points off 4th. Not getting too ahead of myself obviously but the season is far from over
