It was sarcasm. Moyes has always loved crap players though. Always knew when we didn’t succeed in flushing McNeil away and he would rise to the top of the bowl again with Moyes in charge. Only surprise for me is that it took a couple of games.

Unless, of course, you think McNeil is a secret weapon that Moyes didn't in fact want to sell less than a month ago and he was just waiting for the perfect moment to unleash him?

This is more than just McNeil himself. It shows the mentality of Moyes. The same as happened with Fat Sam and Dyche. Cannot get out of their natural habits

He has no interest in developing players for the future. How are you going to show young kids there is a pathway to the first team. Will George want to even sign permanently.

We have a good nucleus of young players that is being wasted. If anyone wanted to keep Moyes past this summer then surely this has made them see the light
