It's a tricky one. I'm not sure he can be sent off for denial of a goalscoring opportunity when the ball went into the net and the goal was given.
No, you obviously can't be sent off for denying a goalscoring opportunity when the opportunity happens. Just like you don't get a yellow for preventing a promising attack if the attack actually occurs.
 
We win away a lot because we sit back and play for the counter, why can’t we do that at home as well? I know the onus is always on home teams to dominate but 90% of teams will come to us and still want to win. Just let them have the ball and counter at home too.
If we try that on Tuesday Vs Burnley it'll be like the Father Ted Walking Football episode
