I don't agree, Gueye has done alright when he has come in. Had a very good performance against Sunderland.

I agree, he did. Played well.

Name another game - bet you can't, because there hasn't been one.

In 35 attempts at trying.

One good game in 35 appearances isn't exactly cutting the mustard. What's he going to offer tonight if he comes on? The smart man says absolutely nothing tbh.

Nope - Gueye has played over 20 games for Everton, including quite a few starts, and played well once.

Vellios' got treated shoddily as well the other season when he was dropped completely when he was our leading scorer at the time.

The difference between those two and Barkley is that I don't think Gueye or Vellios are potential super-talents - you don't see Raheem Sterling completely f*cked off at Liverpool after a bad game, and he's coming along leaps and bounds. I'm not calling for Barkley to start every game, but to be jibbed out of the squad completely is shocking management from a manager who has proven time and time again he has no clue in regards to youth players. It's a complete and utter myth that Everton are good for youngsters.

Should he have been kept on the bench even if Moyes had absolutely no intention of playing him ?

He has done a job in other appearances. I'm not saying he's good enough, just that I haven't seen Gueye make a mistake like Barkley.

Barkley not in line up.
Sturridge went to RS
Ba held out because he is going to Chelsea
Cheese on Toast
Kim Kardashian is preggers with Kanye West's baby even though she is still married to some other dude.

Oooooh I think my rectum just crushed my poo into diamonds with rage

The problem is that Moyes has no intention of playing him. Moyes is the problem here, not Barkley. Nearly every other manager I can think of wouldn't do that with a youth player.

And coincidentally, we have a success rate of one in producing proper first team players from the youth team since Rooney - which was Rodwell. 1 first team player making the jump in 9 years. Failure by any standard you want to set.

Anyway, COYB!
