New third kit

I can't remember which club it was, but I do recall one club putting 3 or 4 kits on their website and letting the fans choose. I wouldn't mind this happening sometime in the future, as long as some a RS fan doesn't nick his grandma's computer and vote for the pink one!!

It looks great....but FFS...three new kits every season is a joke. What happened to the days when each kit used to last 2 years? I feel sorry for the families who's kids want all the kits. I know parents can say no, but that's not the point.

Come on blues...stiffing us with kits and a weird ticket pricing system is really not cool

Deffo agree with that the kit looks alright but i've got a son & he always want the new kits.Must say though some of these descriptions are mad! TITANIUM WITH NIGHTSHADE,THERMAL ORANGE,VIVID BLUE,CYAN,BLACK & AIRFORCE BLUE STRIPE,SLIME WITH BLACK,FLUO GREEN,BLACK WITH FRESH SPLASH, bleeding hell!! do they pay people to make these names up?

I know what you mean mate, but we can't really complain about the board not expanding revenue streams enough, and then complain about things that they are obvously just doing for the money, surely?
 
There is absolutely no point in releasing three new kits every year as it reeks of a marketing ploy and, long term, people simply won't bother buying any.

Should release a new version of each shirt every two years. People would feel they are getting fair value then.

I actually turned down the chance of getting the new home kit as I couldn't justify the cost, knowing it'd be redundant 9 months from now.
 

I refer you to my previous posts....can't have it every way mate, personally I'm happy to see the club doing what it can to bring in as much money as possible. At the end of the day, if you can only afford one kit every once in a while (as I can), then just buy one a season or something (as I do).

What price on a *FUME* thread being opened if someone spotted that we hadn't taken the opportunity to release a third kit and make some extra cash?

Ummmm.....because we need money? For players and stuff?

And yes, they're trying to make more money out of us, the fans, and that's because WE'RE THE BLOODY CUSTOMERS AND WHERE THE HELL ELSE ARE THEY SUPPOSED TO MAKE MONEY FROM?

Soz an all folks, don't mean to be shouty and rude, but the summary of these comments, together with the general thrust of frustrated Ebeptonians complaints (mine included) runs thus:

- Bill and the board are incompetent and are letting the fans down because they can't provide the funds to sign players

- Bill and the board are incompetent and are betraying the fans because they are bringing out products designed to make more money from their fanbase

Surely people can see that this makes no sense?

There are plenty of ways to make money without bringing out three kits per year.
