Browning will probably take no. 27 but I don't believe untested youngstars will be given no. 17 and no. 19. Lukaku will take back no. 17. Besic will wear no. 5 or no. 19.

Depends, the club may have needed their old numbers free for new arrivals, given some of the weird preferences bouncing around (39 for Henen FFS). Be harsh to bounce them off and not give them some say in their new one.

If they don't set the world alight, they needn't keep the number for more than a season. Not like there's going to be queues of angry parents wanting refunds for the thousands of "Hope #17" shirts we shift.
 
Would players changing numbers have been mentioned by now?, like when Jagielka swapped to 6 and Arteta moved to 10, pretty sure we got to hear about it fairly early on?, I'm clutching at straws here but news of any sort would be nice to take my mind off the transfer window.
 

It will be interesting to see if anyone is allocated number 12. I think it is over 10 years since an Everton player appeared on the pitch wearing that number. I think Li Tie was the last player to wear 12 in a game. Iain Turner and Marcus Hahnemann did not appear during their ownership of the shirt.
Iain Turner was last to appear wearing 13 back in 2006. His home league debut lasted 9 minutes and we have not seen the shirt since.
 
12 appears to be like 1 a designated goalkeeper number. 13 is completely ignored by the club as they dont even use it in reserves someone must be superstitious. Last time Turner wore the number was against United when he had an absolute mare.
 
A bit confussed here. Are they going to announce the list or not? 8 days to go before the season begins.

Just wiki'd iain turner and in at 12 year career so far he has only played 91 profesional games????
 
We now have two number 30's according to Everton. Wouldn't you think someone would say "this can't be right!"
