New Shirt Sponsor

Read about this lot ... tory owner, spread betting - isn't that gambling by the very rich? I see another points deduction incoming.

I want nothing to do with this company and so its yet another sponsor logo I'll be not wearing, pushing me further from my club. Ffs everton.
That £2 they won't now get from shirt sales will cripple the club you turn coat. But you must do what's right by you.

Not sure our points deductions were due to our sponsors either by the way.

Sorry if already posted. Saw this pop up on another site

As unpalatable as it is there's no chance we are going to find some benign company prepared to cough up decent money for the front of shirt sponsor who have perfect ethics/morals.

Unfortunate fact of life 99% of the super rich are absolute scum bags who from time to time have used nefarious methods to build their wealth.

These seem a bit less egregious than the last lot, and the logo looks a bit better on the shirt so that's a small victory.

Funny how last week the deal was touted at £50M and now it's down to £30M.

If it happens, it's a disgraceful association. Parasitic capital - more online betting.

TFG are in the process of destroying this club as a communal hub.

It depends how long the deal is for Dave, if it's 3 years it's poor, if it's 2 years then it's pretty good as it will be a 50% improvement on the last Stake deal, which was roughly £10m a year.

Whatever it is you can be sure it wont even be worth what Brentford are reputedly getting. It's all upfront short termism with this club no matter who owns it.

The bigger deal for me is CMC - an utter pisstake of a logo.

Anyone on the left knows CMC represents Commodity-Money-Commodity and it's an initialism used by Marxists in particular to denote one form of parasitic exploitation of the products of useful labour and turning them into commodities and, therefore, those who create commodities...i.e. workers.

CMC as used by Cruddas is basically a celebration of that exploitation as much as it's something to do with his name..

I think if it the same as the Stake deal we also have to consider how competitive the market is this year due to the amount of teams that need a new front of shirt sponsor due to the legislation changes. Potential sponsors are the ones who are holding the cards in the current market in leveraging a better deal for them.
