Would love us to sign Lukaku permanently but just can't see it happening. This was on Sky Sports today ...

"Am I getting ready for Chelsea next season?," he asked rhetorically. "Yes, why else would I have signed a contract for five years?

"I will return to Chelsea as one of the best strikers in the Premier League."

Obviously anything can happen though and qualifying for the Champions League can only enhance our chances of signing him permanently.

just posted that myself, pisses me off how modern day footballers would rather play for these soulless money clubs than lead the line for a proper football club chasing top 4 with supporters than genuinely love you, I just don't get it

Gotta cover his arse mate as it stands the deal is he's going back, if he ends up here he'll let rip at Chelsea.

I'm guessing Roberto will find us a spanish player we've never heard of but who will turn out to be sound, hopefully anyway. Not another Kone please.

I believe we should start looking for his replacement ASAP because I don't think he will be with us next season.
I would love him to be here but just don't see it.

I think he has been told by Chelsea that he needs to be positive about the club after he came out criticising them. What we want is for chelsea to buy a really big name striker in January, someone like Falcao or Diego Costa. Then there is no way Rom would be first choice chelsea striker next season
