According to Radio City, the Yak
WAS at the game today, but not in any footballing capacity. It seems that the arrival of Beckford has indeed put the Yak slightly down the pecking order at the club - so much so he hasn't even warranted a job as bench warmer on our last two outings now. More puzzling, when
Moyes was on TalkSport recently, when quizzed about the Yak, replied that the Yak is very much part of his plans. But being a huge fan of the X Files, I have learnt to not believe everything we hear or see, to Trust no one. A Plan, could involve the rotation of the squad as we know it or it could even mean selling him to further Moyses' ambitions. Either way- the Yak is a part of his 'plan' without being negative nor positive about his future. The man is a manager of course and part of his job is to manipulate the media to his own cause. Cloak and dagger and misdirection are the order of the day when it comes to managing in football in the 2st century !
I believe the Yak will go. Maybe to further the clubs coffers so we can bring in the likes of Landon Donovan. But probably more so that since the Yak's injury and , he has never quite been the same player and his globally disastrous World Cup campaign did him no favours at all, it may be time for the Yak to quit while his 'sort of ' ahead.
We fed the Yak and now it's time to put him out to pasture.
