What’s the appeal of Fonseca? (Genuine question). All I can go on is the bare stats of his management career and it doesn’t look all that.
He's got a sexy / exotic name? It's not what I think I just wonder if that's the appeal? I mean Dyche sounds like some kind of ditch. What’s the appeal of Fonseca? (Genuine question). All I can go on is the bare stats of his management career and it doesn’t look all that.
Not sure there is one. He was flavour of the month a few years back and was good enough to get the Milan gig (not as prestigious as once was) but he has Milan in 8th which is what he has been sacked. Given he has been plying his trade in Seri A, would be interesting to know what TFG think of him as they will have seen up up close and personalWhat’s the appeal of Fonseca? (Genuine question). Vast improvement from what we currently have mate. What’s the appeal of Fonseca? (Genuine question). All I can go on is the bare stats of his management career and it doesn’t look all that.
Truth be told, there aren't many 'exceptional' candidates out there at the moment anyway really are there? beyond what we can realistically attract anyway...What’s the appeal of Fonseca? (Genuine question). All I can go on is the bare stats of his management career and it doesn’t look all that.
52% career win rate across a number of countries, his teams do score goals.

I haven't watched Fonsecas teams since shakhtar but that shakhtar team was fantastic to watch. He also plays a 4231 so it would be evolution not revolution for the team (in theory)
Vast improvement from what we currently have mate.

I get the point but in what leagues? Mostly they appear to be in Portugal and that’s hardly the most feral space imaginable. I think of it as a warm version of the Scottish PL.Vast improvement from what we currently have mate.

Attacking football needs good decision making as well. He's tended to be flexible in the actual setup of his teams but his ethos has always been the same - 'win' the possession & create as many chances as possible. That Shakhtar Donetsk team that he had which reached the last 16 of the CL was indeed a really good side to watch. Has been interviewed by Spurs, Newcastle & Villa for their managerial positions in recent times.
One thing we can guarantee with him is better footy, but getting the results is the question mark..

He has no idea how to coach a team to play attacking football, nor does it appear he has the will to.Look, I'm not a kneejerker but that was very poor yesterday.
Even the GOT gaffer seems to have turned, so you’d be in good company..Look, I'm not a kneejerker but that was very poor yesterday.
