No Wenger on the poll? I know its unlikely but no less likely than Emery imo.
Either way I think DoF/Brands needs to be sorted first. Think that will have a big impact.

Who ever is selected; I’d like them to be completely committed to Everton.

Secondly, a media darling with charisma and influence would be nice. Seems as if the more the media loves a manager the higher up the table they finish.. just a thought.

Also if I was a manager then I would be asking myself, would I want to join a club who sing f*** off to me when I'm actually doing a good job. That will honestly be something the next manager will be considering.

lol Seriously? Where would they even find out for a start! As soon as they see the money on offer, they wont even bother. These people are very self confident and whoever comes in will expect he'll do well.

I believe Mancini has left zenith st Petersburg. He wouldn't be my cup of tea, but I'm surprised he's not been mentioned as a runner.

I'm convinced I've seen him being strongly linked with the Italian national team job after the World Cup ends.

Personally I've never been that impressed with him as a manager.

Anyone using the knife to a gunfight thing doesn't "know the club" at all.

As for what he can do with Moshiri's millions, Kroldrup, Bily, Beattie, Simon Bloody Davies...yeah great!
You mean like moshiri
We were expected to lose that match anyway so it doesn't matter.
So clearly he needs to go aswell.

Why isn't Moyes an option.
Knows the club inside out so none of this let's give him a season to adjust and now has experience with many teams both here and abroad which is what he wanted.
If he can get to 5th on a sell before you buy policy, what can he do with moshiris millions.
Got to be worth a sniff.

He inherited a title winning team , had millions to spend and look what happened.

Fonseca is staying where he is right? Then what is this fluff?

Everton SACK Sam Allardyce: Marco Silva wanted as replacement, Paulo Fonseca keen on job

EVERTON have sacked Sam Allardyce as manager.

Allardyce has been given the boot just six months after being named as Ronald Koeman's replacement.

The 63-year-old met with major investor Farhad Moshiri this morning in London and was informed he would not be seeing out the remainder of his 18-month contract.

The ex-Bolton, Newcastle and West Ham boss steered the Toffees away from relegation trouble but the fans never took to him.

Starsport revealed yesterday that Allardyce would be sacked this week and the club have now confirmed his departure.

Everton said in a statement: "We have made the decision, as part of our longer-term plan, we will be appointing a new manager.

"We’d like to place on record our sincere thanks to Sam for his work with us over the last few months and wish him well for the future.”

Everton fans haven't taken to Sam Allardyce
Marco Silva, who was most recently at Watford, is the club's top pick to replace Allardyce.

They tried to get him in November but the Hornets wouldn't let him leave.

Silva has since been sacked although Everton may still have to pay compensation to secure his services.

Shakhar Donetsk coach Paulo Fonseca is another option for the Merseyside club.

Marco Silva and Paulo Fonseca are keen on Everton
Journalist Duncan Castles revealed on the latest episode of The Transfer Window Podcast that Fonesca fancies a switch to Goodison Park.

"Paulo Fonseca is very keen to move to the Premier League," he said.

"He almost went to the Premier League in November after Everton failed to extract Marco Silva from Watford they then had a meeting with Fonseca, offered him the job, he accepted but Shakhtar wouldn't let him go at that point.

"His contract expires at the end of this season, he's been offered a deal to stay.

Sam Allardyce's final match was Sunday's defeat at West Ham
“Fonseca I think would prefer to move to Everton than he would West Ham United”

Duncan Castles
"He's been offered to several clubs, one of which is West Ham.

"He's met David Sullivan who was impressed with the converation they had when I checked with my contacts an offer hadn't been made, but Sullivan is being pressured to make a quick decision because of the other vacancies available.

"I think Everton remains a possibility there.
