I read somewhere last night that Bill Kenwright met Watford officials in April to try to smooth the waters over the Marco Silva affair.

I assume that it was done with at least one eye on the possibility of appointing Silva as manager this summer with the blessing of Watford.

I think Silva would be appointed in the next day or so if not for the problem with Watford . It would be logical to guess that we are currently trying to negotiate some kind of agreement with them and it depends really if they will accept money as an apology or if they are determined to keep Silva away from Everton.
