Totally depends on the sponsor I reckon. Not what they sell etc but how the logo looks. Some work really well, others are just tacked on. A sponsor logo going over stripes without a bar behind it always looks a bit crap.
Klaassen really should be in an Everton shirt if that's the case then.

Why do they need to be quirky with the collar?
How hard is it to just do a classic, simple bit effective look.
From that picture, it looks like the Took a sheet of white paper to a nursery and let the kid design it.

To make it harder for Chinese sweatshops to mass-produce convincing knock-offs. All the kits have silly design elements now. The ugliness is sort of the point.

Saw a new rs shirt in a sports shop near me miles from Liverpool obviously). Its getting a darker red these days - as they literally go further to the dark side.
Reminds me of that awful Coventry City brown strip from the 80's
