I understand that the new kit doesn't look a world class piece of kit, but I think a lot of people associate kits with their best memories.
For example anybody who seen great players like Alan Ball will have a soft spot for the orange/yellow kit that appears on some of his photo's.
Orangle/yellow isn't exactly everyones first choice but the kit will be idolised by many.
Same could be said for any kit during the successful HK era were many of the older folk are used to seeing da bloos lifting tin pots, I know that if Everton were to wear the three kits currently available and we won the league, many of us would want all three kits for the future nostalgia of Aiden McGeady flying down the right flank crossing the ball for a Oumar Niasse header to seal the deal....
Neg me if im wrong about the dynamic duo of Aids and Oumar.
I generally like the yellow and blue kits but this is horrific
That 3rd kit is quite possibly THE worst kit I've ever seen for Everton, the white Chang is absolutely hideous, shocking.
It's bad enough releasing 3 new kits a year these days at least put some effort into the designs.
Worse than Le Coq's pink monstrosity a few years back? Doubt it

I think some people are a bit cheesed off because they expected that blag orange kit that was doing the rounds a few weeks ago.
It was never going to be that. The club rightly steer clear of any potentially controversial colours for kits. Some people would be offended (and possibly were over the green one last season...which was a one off I'd suggest).
Blue, white and yellow are our corporate livery. It's an attractive combo and doesn't get up anyone's nose.
