Good enough for me to pay the bit extra and get from Everton then.

Buying a kit from the Everton stores does NOT mean EFC get more money. Kitbag supply the kits to Everton stores and to other retail outlets, taking ALL of the profit, for a set fee of £8m per annum. Buying any training kit or replica shirts does NOT benefit Everton financially.

This, added to the fact I am over 12 years of age prevents me from buying anything!

It's this attitude from a fair amount of the fan base that means we have such a turd merchandising deal as why would anyone stock them when Everton fans are too "grown up" to wear footy shirts.

Polyester gear is a hell of a lot more comfortable to play actual football in though, happy to pay a few extra quid to show my colours!

I don't wear it about town though, not my personal preference at 36.

I'm not sure what the big deal is with the kit being the same design. How many varieties of a football kit can there actually be ? The colours are historically relevant to us, good enough for me.

Nobody is forcing people to buy it !
