Just typical that we won’t have our kit out until mid/late June whilst the majority have them out already. I don’t get why we wait so long to release it, all the media stuff will have been done ages ago so why wait?

Released late as the club are amateurs. An average kit for a bang average side probably.

I think that this is a valid reason. Plus, you'd expect that the kits sold will have the new sponsor so until the ink is dry on the contract they won't be producing kits that would be out of date or require re-work to out on a sponsor.

Villa have released theirs without a sponsor.

We were never releasing a kit early this year with the sponsorship change. The new sponsor will want to be on the new kit when it's announced as the kit announcement gets a lot of views.

We have had sponsorless kits before. I even remember Keijan on the kit before Chang replaced it within a few weeks, we lost at home at the seconds to last game to Bolton with it wearing the next seasons kit.

NEC to DANKA, I had it with no sponsor that summer of 95.

You can still show off a kit without a new sponsor, three are unveiled throughout a summer mate.

Its a choice. I believe we've decided that we make more money through sponsorship than from selling shirts, so we favour the sponsors.

I'm not completely into the finance side of things but presumably our deal with fanatics has some influence over this too.
