New kit for the last game?

Do we have a quality control department or anything like that?

A lot of our stuff over the years looks cheap and half hearted to me.

Im not saying it’s a big deal and god knows people go out of their way to tell everyone else how not arsed they are about this stuff , I just think it would be nice to have some genuinely smart kits/training gear (I know that’s subjective) especially at the prices they put on them.
Of course we do, and it keeps all good quality merchandise away from our club.

Standard reaction to new kit leaks in here, I see.

Everyone hates it, everyone says it’s horrendous.

Then it’s our kit and we all forget how much we hate it and get on with our lives.

I quite like it, for what it’s worth. I’ve often wondered why the 87 kit hasn’t been a source of design inspiration for an homage, looks like we finally have it.

It’s just that blight of a sponsor that scuppers it for me - but looking forward to seeing my son in it, without that across the chest.

Were we not getting threatened with court action over having them as our sponsor?
Yes, the murky grey area about promoting a banned service to UK consumers - although it is in theory blocked in the UK, which our lawyers have obviously decided is fine…

I guess VPNs aren’t things UK consumers know about and use to watch 3pm Saturday kick-offs every week. 🤷‍♂️

Are we doing the grown men having a meltdown over a football kit thing again? :D

Is it Blue?
Yup, then it’s fine.

We do need to bin Stake off though, a wholly loathsome company even by betting company standards.
I love football shirts, always have.
I hate the style of Castore. The designs and materials look cheap but the product is expensive.
I've no problem being a grown man who's unhappy with the club settling for a crap kit supplier and crap sponsor all due to the bottom line.
I actually think taking slightly less for a better "brand" would work out better in the long run.
I spent a good bit of cash on Hummel stuff over the last few years, won't spend a cent on Castore.

The thing about the Stake contract - it says multi-year SO if the club can get a better offer, they can dump stake. You would think with the new stadium, club reset they could have got a better offer... seems not.

The new shirt looks OK, just don't like the sponsor.
