Can someone explain what is meant by 'black watch'?
Why don't we put a sash across the other way, to make a cross. It could be another 'X-Men' themed shirt. It would fit in with the 'Wolverine' yellow and blue shirt we had this season.Black watch my arse. We don't do sashes...and certainly not red ones.
If that away shirt happens I'm investing.
I doubt there'll ever be red on an Everton shirt though

In 1881/82, Everton wore a black kit with a red sash and we're nicknamed 'The Black Watch' after the military regiment.

It can't, under any circumstances be red, though!!!
More nipple please
Only group of guys I know wearing sashes these days march up and down the roads playing terrible music remembering a long forgotten battle for sectarian reasons. Swerve the sash lolBlack watch my arse. We don't do sashes...and certainly not red ones.
Yep. This I think...Dixie dean motif on the back of the new shirt.

It looks OK, I think we as Everton fans know who it is, but I don't think most people will actually know. I prefer the patch we had on the sleeve for 2002/03 100 season kit, much more detailed;
