New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

from looking at some plans there is a 'Transport Hub' to be built on Derby Rd opposite the 10 Streets development....which will probably mean Bus/Coach park....but what really needs to be built is a rail station close by....At present there is Sandhills..all very well when using to go to the ground but after the match many will be going to the same location all at the same time

Spot on. A new Station is needed and Sandhills is further than you think. It will be built at the parcel of land mothballed a decade or so ago at the back of the tobacco warehouse. Lots of room for a car park and bus drop off, as well.

indeed..the walk from Sandhills is fine on a warm sunny afternoon but in the pissing rain at night, not so good.
You say 'it will be built'...do you mean it could be built?

I'm an optimist. It's been talked about for years. I just think that when the BMD gets the nod, the business case to build a station will be watertight and that should get it over the line.

ah ok I understand..yes agreed. if the owner wants the stadium to be utilised more ( concerts etc) then the public transport system needs to be improved and a new station is essential to that (will also benefit the surrounding area, 10 streets development and the proposed new residential areas too)

I would imagine that EFC would be asked to make a contribution. Think that would only be fair.

A rectangle is an equiangular quadrilateral.
A square is an equilateral rectangle.

A rhombus on the other hand is an equilateral quadrilateral with parallel opposite sides . If a rhombus possesses a right angle, it’d be a square.
