New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

Just been driving down the Dock Road, near BMD, I was stuck in traffic behind an unmarked police car as armed police were inspecting a parked old Land Rover car. Looks like they were looking for a car bomb, or something. Looks like we’re going to drastic measures to clear the site in preparation for the build!

Is the new stadium design essentially a modern version of goodison?

Big single tier = park end
tow tier behind goal = gwladys
big 3 tier side = goodison road?

Yes, the single tier, triple decker and 2 double decker model is to be copied, according to what Dan Meis told us in April. I suggested a few months before that it should be something along those lines. Best of facilities, with no posts but with a lovely retro feel.

So the massive home end is the park end hahaa

gutted for the gwladys street lids

Probably because one part of it housed the away fans?

Pretty sure one team smashed through a wall once to get to us.

No, mate. I can remember the footy violence of the 70's and 80's clearly. I'm talking early 60's. I think the Gwladys St had established itself as the home end, by the time I first set foot in GP in the late 60's as a young child.

I was at one of the Dan Meis workshops and I don't recall him saying anything as specific as that about the stands. All he said was there would be a massive home end..

I don't know if he put it in those terms but take a look. I'm not wrong. One tier behind one goal stand, double tier at the other. Double decker on one side and a triple decker on the other. Take a look. Pretty certain I'm right.

not doubting your word mate but take a look at what ? we haven't seen a firm plan yet . I'm beginning to doubt this will happen ,not a peep from Meis recently and even Joe has gone quiet.I've gone form confident to sceptical.
