New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

Prices will determine gates as much as success. Not a chance any club with £500M-£600M debt to pay are having a "competitive" price structure. Build a 60K capacity stadium and there will be a lot of unfilled seats.

Match day attendance income isn't as important as it once was; having a full ground (even with kids) makes for a better tv spectacle (and that drives advertising revenue).

I am in the same camp re seats. Some buzz off having a certain number, usually 60000 plus a few. I think a brilliant stadium, with 50 to 55000 is just as good.

Got absolutely no issue with you coming from where you do or anyone else for that matter but if your going to make snide little remarks to me about my support then expect to get something back.

Jack - the nickname for Swansea supporters. Your from Wales. You go on about welsh players all the time. Could have sworn you said once you were from Swansea. Regardless your from Wales. You chose to support Everton. I didn't choose. Born and brought up here its my birthright.

Feel free to have an opinion but im not having wools trying to call me out.

lol lol lol lol

You entire ranty post was triggered by him not being scouse.

I've no idea if this is true or not but surely it would be better to have a full stadium competitively priced than a half empty one because of the high cost of attending.

Exactly. And that's why I think there should be less breast beating over capacity.

Different circumstances, of course, but I bet Juventus aren't sorry they went for a 41K stadium. Obvioulsy we need to go higher - and probably should do to future proof it - to about 52K.

I want is all, a steep sided, purpose built football stadium with a 25,000+ single tier stand at one end, a covered family enclosure, great access for our fans with disabilities, flash boxes well out of the way for those that want them - and a capacity of 61,878 (has a nice ring to it). And paint the bloody thing blue!
