New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

omg, are you still here pretending to be a blue? wow, what a life.
No offence mate but your from Swansea and support wales. I'm from Liverpool so I'd appreciate not being lectured on being a blue. No hard feelings.

Cheers fella

wait really? i've spent the last 36 years of my life supporting Everton and I've never lived in Liverpool. There must have been a memo and i missed it. crap! erm...... well this is awkward. I live about 30 minutes away from Stamford Bridge so I suppose.... i mean at least they still wear blue right. Well it's been fun boys, see you all at the bridge, I'm off to be racist on the french underground

ha, i hope you realise my post was sarcastic in response to someone saying i can't have an opionion because i'm not from the area. You pribably have them on ignore too.

Never change Dave never change
If the club announce 50/55 000 you will claim they lack ambition
No mate. I might have said so in the past, but views change with evidence. The evidence suggests the wisdom of a smaller stadium. Whatsmore, I think we all know the club are desperate to not over-extend themselves on the cost of the extra 10k-15k.

Slightly off topic but an interesting read about Spurs new ground and lack off progress.

Ha Ha Ha.

Drugs and alcohol
The number of workers on site grew to nearly 4,000 as the project neared its original deadline, which reportedly led to problems with some workers.

CN has heard first-hand accounts describing a minority of workers being under the influence of alcohol and, in some cases, cocaine while working on the project, with sources even claiming that the drug was being used in site toilets.

A number of physical altercations also allegedly broke out when site numbers were at their peak.

“I’ve not worked on a site like that in a long, long time,” one source says, claiming: “There were people off their heads, drinking cans first thing in the morning before going on to site and snorting coke in the toilets.”

55k would be the ball park figure for me - with the waiting list and demand for tickets I feel we would fill this number to capacity on a regular basis.

We don't have the global appeal such as united and RS - but we sell out premier league games now despite 30% being "obstructed" so I think anything over 60k is realistically, over ambitious - of course if there is the potential to expand that would be welcome, as we don't know what the future holds for premier league grounds.

I'm not sure if the land space is an issue for the 60k, but the fact Dan Meis in his presentation shown slides for stands with a 60k seater stadium perhaps proves this to not be the case.

On a separate note - I think we'll crush the RS in competition for concerts etc, with improved modern transport links and imagine sitting in that steep single tier stand watching your favourite band. Would be class.

The number of staff who still do cocaine whilst getting randomly tested at construction companies is crazy.

In terms of open air concerts it won't even be a contest, smacks a little bit of panic on their behalf tbh.
