Well it's done now. It's not dynamic sounding or catchy, does sound like the name a hum drum club like Bolton or Reading would have. It IS sometimes better to not to take the money.

You never know 'The intimidating atmosphere of the Hill Dickinson Stadium' might be a common media phrase soon.

Bit different in the 80's when short sponsorship was in it's infancy.

I wouldn't mind but we've been hearing words like iconic and world class for years about this ground and then they go and get us Pete Price's phone in sponsor.
No one outside of Liverpool has heard of Hill Dickinson.

Also, they make about £58 million a year as a company. Are they really going to be spending 1/6th of their income on us?

I mean nearly every other major team had household named brands
Off the top of my head I remember sharp, crown paints, JVC, guinness, Holsten, Bass, Draper tools.
We had the Danish tinned meat kings!
