New Everton Stadium

Local company putting millions to the club, a company that was formed on the docks is very fitting.

Much better than being part of sports washing or dodgy betting company.

People were going to have been happy with USM - oligarchs and the worst account in history that nearly destroyed the club.

What I'm thinking is that this is a shame from a marketing perspective. I was looking forward to a range of stadium related gear, just as we have to say goodbye to Goodison. That name doesn't scream to me like it would be any good on clothing, pictures of the stadium with such a prominent long name will tarnish that a bit. As it will do standing in front of the actual building.

It was always going to be a gamble and almost all sponsors wouldn't be perfect, The USM Arena was one of those that would have just blended into the background. Obviously we need the cash and every bit helps but surely we could have found something that ticked most boxes even if it was for a bit less money.

Established in 1810, originally specialising in maritime law. I actually think it's an excellent match, considering the location of the stadium, and a business with history before Everton in fact.

Hill Dickinson's origins can be traced back to 1810, with the establishment of a Liverpool legal practice by the firm's founder, Edward Morrall. John Edward Gray Hill joined the firm in 1865. John Dickinson (1847–1907) became a partner in 1872, and the firm traded as Duncan, Hill & Dickinson. It established itself as a leading maritime law office, and represented the White Star Line in connection with the sinking of the RMS Titanic[4] and Cunard Line in respect of the sinking of RMS Lusitania[5] which was torpedoed by a German U-boat on 7 May 1915.

For me that's proper underwhelming. Not bothered about the name even if it is pretty crap but it doesn't scream out like a club trying to be seen to make themselves known again. And I say this because no way I believe this 10 million stuff.

Anything above £5m we’ve done well on this basis.

Has everyone gone mental?

What were peoples expectations? 20m a season?! I think we’ve done incredibly well and I’m made up it’s a local company as well that’ll invest in our economy.

Can’t complain at all, name sounds a bit daft but I’ll be calling it Bramley Moore anyway so couldn’t care less.

The entitlement is wild amongst the fanbase.

Scouse team, with a Scouse sponsor and will no doubt employ Evertonians with one of the biggest deals in Europe.

Sorry...no thanks?

Some of you REALLY need to look in mirror, disgusting the level of entitlement here.

We're club of the city....we should have a local sponsor.
This is why we don't grow. Mentality is awful. We're supposed to be growing the brand as best we can. Using a local business barely anyone knows isn't growing the brand it's staying in the same comfort zone we've been in for 30 years. Mediocrity rules.
