Wow they were fast doing that, so looks like it's back to ordinary turfing then, what's Joey up to nowadays ?

Over 300 games, U23 coach, Caretaker manager on several occasions, FA Cup and Charity Shield winner…he may not be the cultured footballer compared to the others, but he’s played his part in our history……..

…I think some footballers are fortunate to have played for us at certain times and I’d include the likes of Unsworth and Hibbert in that category. They’d have been nowhere near the teams that Hurst or Gabriel played in.

If we’re talking ‘Everton Greats’ then I’d have to suggest they’d challenge for a game in Everton teams through the ages. It should be an elite group.

Can’t remember who it was, but I posted on here a while back that the pitch was being taken up again and someone swore blind that wasn’t happening.

I think lots of people questioned the idea when it was just a rumour. Myself included in that group, just doesn't make much sense spending all that money stitching it, then ripping it up to start again.
