Good idea on a fine day not so good on a wet & windy dayI will probably put my car where I always have by Goodison and walk the half an hour to the ground. Generally takes me 10 mins from there anyway so.

Heve forbid we use our own property (property that we've paid an obscene amount of money for) how we chose! The club don't like it? They can GTF. So what if I cant attend a game and leand my card to a mate who will truly appreciate the experience. Its not like its costing them a penny. Its not a real issue, its them being petty, vindictive, money grabbing, control freaks. They need calling out for this. I don't care how new this administration is, they need calling out if that is their attitude. With regards to the 'cards', the club don't like them as it means you can just pass it to someone else if you can't go.
With the end of the cards, it means anyone who can't go will be forced to either transfer it via on the online platform to someone who has a Club Membership (£35 at last look), or offer it up for resale. Either way, the club earn extra income from your season ticket that they wouldn't normally have had if you gave your card to someone else.
It's been an issue for years. Its meant they have been included in holiday packages without the club making a penny.
Not saying I agree its worth putting people out, but its just the way it is and I expect the club to push back hard.

I agree. I'm no fan of the PL but the club has the power to say yes or no to this. If they chose to go along with the PL and alienate their own fans aka their own coustmers then they're part of the problem and deserve to be called out. It's nothing really to do with the new administration, trousering as much money as possible from the fans is why the Premier league exists.
Reducing the lanes on the Strand was insane enough without throwing in the stadium.Train station is a farce and for the roads why did they reduce the lanes on the strand Infront of liver buildings knowing a stadium was possibly getting built...
He will be collecting the balls out of the mersey on match day
This is really useful information have you ever thought of approaching Google maps so that you could assist them with their options adding a fourth option:I did the walk from rigbys to sandhills. It seemed to take ages. But then again I was well away so it was one step forward and 2 steps back all the way. So 25 mins is pretty good
I think a lot will have the same idea.I will probably put my car where I always have by Goodison and walk the half an hour to the ground. Generally takes me 10 mins from there anyway so.
Tbh.... Liverpudlians have been complaining for years about a lack of council support for their travel needs at Anfield too. This has come more into focus as they've expanded up to 61k with talk of further expansions being held back by transport.... However, some are now saying that there may be a breakthrough on that score. The council may claim that this is part of a bigger scheme to expand Merseyrail generally, but if genuine it would represent a far greater investment than that for BMD, and would require some answers:
If these plans have substance, then there is no way that Vauxhall station and shouldn't have been a priority.
