I remember in the early 70’s being in the “ new stand’ and the guy in the next seat was explaining how ( he believed) they were going to extend it around as the same structure into the Park End. That dream died pretty quickly.

By approx 1980. The club had plans drawn up to continue the mainstand down to ground level (getting rid of the enclosure) creating a 2 tier stand.... and then replicating that format on all sides to slightly different proportions, but same height. Creating an all-seater stadium. I've only seen the cross sections and not the plan view, so I'm not sure how the corners would've been handled. I would say that it was just a study, as it showed clearly that the area for the Bullens Road stand was not deep enough. I can only imagine that the drop in attendances at that time and the estimated costs scuppered any further investigation. The concept still included the same type of roof design as the mainstand.... with supporting columns (not goalpost truss or cantilevers), but that may have been only illustrative. The drawings were done by Littlewoods architecture department. John Moores was getting on by then and I think his sons had diverted their attentions to the other lot by then? So maybe there was less impetus for it all too, by that point.

Yes, I'm in family/friend group of 6. Two of us have 23+ yrs tenure (probably 80yrs between us in reality), but we have to wait for the shortest tenure, which is 13yrs.

Ive gotta wait till the 12th march for my little lad who's getting his first season ticket, am not too worried though, In terms of views its not going to be as bad as picking somewhere in Goodison

Me too, I’m more worried about the price of the remaining seats and potentially paying way above what’s in my price range.

Yeah thats my concern, we normally go the footy in a group of 10, most of who get to pick their seats on the next release, hoping we can be tactical on how its chose so we can slot in-between them

In all likelihood then most seats will likely be taken by mid/end Feb as longer term STH's wait for friends/family than have only had them for a few years.

Good question, the email I received makes it sound like it’s 5 memberships since 2018 and not necessarily consecutive. I’m on 6 consecutive years.

Will I be able to buy 2 or just one

My lads been on it since he was born, so 7 years with 7 years of memberships.

Depends if you have also been paying for an Official Membership for Mrs Degsy. It's one Season Ticket per qualifying Official Membership. If you have only been paying for an OM for yourself on your own number, it will just be you that qualifys for a ST.

Got mine earlier this morning, was in the 23+ group but had to wait for my lad whose turn was today. Got decent seats in upper east block 216
