The least they could have done was put two tiers on it so the stadium was "complete", as it were. That single stand always looked naff.

I remember in the early 70’s being in the “ new stand’ and the guy in the next seat was explaining how ( he believed) they were going to extend it around as the same structure into the Park End. That dream died pretty quickly.

Getting mine tomorrow had to wait for my son..I can go on it to select a seat, going in upper south myself all the middle section up to at least 3/4 way up have gone, now looking to be just to the left side of goal can get bit lower down..not sure of row numbers like.

So, now according to Skynews the Government are going to help with the redevelopment of Old Trafford. City get a free ground and the government throw in for Old Trafford. Everton get done over interest payments though

Not new stadium related but does anyone know why the park end was only built to this size (5750 capacity according to Google) and never expanded upon? Seems like there’s plenty of room behind for extension.

What Everton stadium? It doesn’t exist in the media - just Uniteds new stadium. Its going to be ALL about that one now. Unbelievable isnt it.

The council paid for a lot of the restoration work around bramley moore and presumably will be investing in more transport and infrastructure if required.
