New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

Be careful guys getting off the train at sandhills I got fined today €100 because I didn't print my tickets out the machine even though I paid for the journey online I didn't realize you had to print the tickets the stewards were very aggressive on this ruined what was a brilliant first visit to the stadium
You were unlucky. I got on and off at Sandhills today and never saw anyone checking tickets.

We played lower league team in the cup the other week where tens of thousands got in who wouldn’t normally have got a ticket for a PL game.

Ballots for every home game with most members being successful for at least 1 game by this point.

Loads of resale tickets available for West Ham, Palace and likely Spurs too in the coming weeks.

There’s been plenty of opportunities for people to go.

You’re grossly wide of the mark if you’re expecting a massive attendance for the women’s game.
Well done for totally missing the sarcasm, it wasn’t easy but you really smashed it out of the park to be fair.

Not that I mind , but did anyone else notice the lack of checks today at the boundary wall ? I had my phone out ready but wasn't asked to show it. All my ''neighbours '' said the same . The kids they employ as stewards don't look interested or are scared to ask.
On the plus side the stadium was bouncing today after the penalty. Incredible noise coming down from the South Stand.

Just walked straight through weirdly noticed the same. Agree with every word. Especially the noise in the South Stand

Yeah that's the reason Merseyrail are being archaic and not allowing online tickets... Got to scam money off people somehow and if you're not a regular on their trains then you might not know about the physical tickets only nonsense.

Their 'security' might dress like police officers but they're absolutely not. Should have told them to do one and walked off into the crowd.

The premium section in the west stand hasn’t been full in any game so far. It looks pathetic at the start of the 2nd half when they all come trailing out 5-10 minutes into the half.

The empty sections in the east are seat uniques lot. The club need to do something when they know a day or two before the game that they aren’t going to be sold, give them to unsuccessful ballot members. Get them filled with blues who want to be there.

The odd empty seats dotted around are clearly people who can’t go but can’t be bothered with how complicated the club have made it to give your ticket to a family member or a mate. Doing away with the plastic cards means there will be more empty seats instead of an Evertonian in favour of trying to chase money.
The seats been paid for = jobs a goodun as far as they're concerned, there's no incentive for them to make it easy and if they can coin a bit more in via the complicated resale process - all the better

Welcome to modern football.

I've bought tickets through the resale site for every home league game, and for all of those games apart from the first against Brighton, people around have asked if it's my ST. When I say I got it on the resale site they tell me it's been the same for every game. Why are people buying season tickets who have no intention of going to games? Monday nights or weeknight games you can accept people might have work/travel issues but Saturday and Sunday games?

Loads of empty seats today and that's not in the seat unique or corporate spots.

This is bang on. My son is three and I’ve been wanting to take him to his first game when he turns four but I have no idea how to do that as a ST holder.
Also from what I understand I’m going to have to pay for a yearly membership for him to get him and keep him from on the waiting list for his own ST.
I get it there has to be some restrictions but right now it feels impossible to share the experience with friends and family - in the age of AI and incredible tech it surely isn’t beyond the wit of man to build something a bit more flexible.

Spot on.

Today was the first time it felt a little like we recaptured that Goodison feel…those last 25 minutes loudest i heard it!

Players winning 2nd balls, giving the opposition no time helped to get the crowd going

Its very early days at BM so was always going to be tough to recreate it instantly but its a start!

On a side note heard two Palace fans taking about BM one said the size reminded them of Wembley and the other said never seen a stadium look so huge from the outside.

Anyway this ⬇️ is what it's all about !
