New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

Be careful guys getting off the train at sandhills I got fined today €100 because I didn't print my tickets out the machine even though I paid for the journey online I didn't realize you had to print the tickets the stewards were very aggressive on this ruined what was a brilliant first visit to the stadium
The price we pay for doing away with physical tickets. A total scam.

Me and my lad couldn't believe to see alot of empty seats I think people who say can't make it for whatever reason can't be arsed with the pantomime giving they're ticket to someone.when it was a card for everyone you could pass it to a friend or family member.me personally if I couldn't go wouldn't want anything for the ticket but it's too much hassle would swerve and I think alot are doing the same.. technology sometimes doesn't work especially for older supporters..
Cards back for everyone imo

I’m expecting a huge attendance for the women’s game next week, so many people who’ve been absolutely desperate to go the new ground but not been able to. A great chance to go for very cheap, should be pretty much full if everybody’s been telling the truth…

It’s definitely not just premium seats that are empty, there seemed to be little pockets all round the ground. I don’t know what it is but I think it’s too simplistic to just put it down to seat unique.
The premium section in the west stand hasn’t been full in any game so far. It looks pathetic at the start of the 2nd half when they all come trailing out 5-10 minutes into the half.

The empty sections in the east are seat uniques lot. The club need to do something when they know a day or two before the game that they aren’t going to be sold, give them to unsuccessful ballot members. Get them filled with blues who want to be there.

The odd empty seats dotted around are clearly people who can’t go but can’t be bothered with how complicated the club have made it to give your ticket to a family member or a mate. Doing away with the plastic cards means there will be more empty seats instead of an Evertonian in favour of trying to chase money.

Obviously everyone’s different and I appreciate that but I couldn’t go on Monday and giving my ticket to my mate online was genuinely easier than meeting up and doing it manually, it’s really not that big a deal.

People are back late because of the free ale

…..my first visit today, I wanted it to be a league game and my son downloaded his Club View ST onto Mrs Eggs mobile and it worked a treat.

I was on my lonesome, got there early to take a few pics of my ‘Everton Way brick’, sitting neatly between Sheedy and Bracewell. I’m in such wonderful company.

Getting in was easy but it’s a hike up those stairs. Like Sherpa Tensing, I passed an old bloke who was younger than me who stopped for a rest half-way up. My son recommended the pie, so I got a chicken pie and coffee but it was wasteful because I’d had a hearty full English before I left home. Anyway, the couple of bites of pie was ok, the half cup of coffee similar.

I took my seat, more stairs to row 57, calfs like Grealish when I finally sat down but it’s a proper footy stadium. Really noisy when it’s noisy, quiet when it’s quiet.

I actually think that ground will get better with age. It’ll form its identity over time. Things will be added, bits taken away, stairs and rails softened with traffic. It’s great, it’ll be greater.
Probably me that you passed taking a breather to Row 61 :)

In other games maybe, but as I said, not today. I’m not sure we actually know it’s the case for other games it’s just an assumption but today it just didn’t seem to be the case.

We've a v different fanbase now and many people got season tickets knowing they wont make every game. As has been said it's such a hassle.handing tickets over as.well.

No chance..

Need to accept the real world mate. Blues buying hospitality tickets wanting a half time beer are no worse Blues than you. They've paid for it. Their choice

Not that I mind , but did anyone else notice the lack of checks today at the boundary wall ? I had my phone out ready but wasn't asked to show it. All my ''neighbours '' said the same . The kids they employ as stewards don't look interested or are scared to ask.
On the plus side the stadium was bouncing today after the penalty. Incredible noise coming down from the South Stand.
They have got rid of all the full body scanners as well. Plus I didn’t see any stewards using those wand scanner thingios. Good news - I’m gonna start smuggling contraband in at the next home game

We played lower league team in the cup the other week where tens of thousands got in who wouldn’t normally have got a ticket for a PL game.

Ballots for every home game with most members being successful for at least 1 game by this point.

Loads of resale tickets available for West Ham, Palace and likely Spurs too in the coming weeks.

There’s been plenty of opportunities for people to go.

You’re grossly wide of the mark if you’re expecting a massive attendance for the women’s game.
