Can anyone that went confirm that the atmosphere was shocking. That is how it came across on the TV anyway.

Not enough young people at the games

Just loads of older people who can’t be arsed making a noise

Couldn’t make the game tonight. Can’t re-sell Club View tickets, can’t pass on to other ST holders, upshot of it= two empty seats tonight.

Why don’t you put your tickets onto a burner phone which you can then pass around?

We were out there about an hour before kick off but I wanted to get in and look around so I don't know when they closed it.

The energy of a stand goes from back to front and onto the pitch and this stand is not designed for that to be feasible, IMO.

That's not a backward swipe at the people in the access bay. They'll do all they can to get that energy continued down onto the pitch. But the bay they have prevents that happening.

As I say: the issue is one I wouldn't feel comfortable in changing. Our disabled supporters are fanatics and deserve the same rights as anyone else. I just feel when at the designing stage something wasn't thought through.

You're right. It was a strange place to put the disabled spots but nothing can be done now.

So many of these videos were flying round in the build up to the opening talking about the South Stand being this and that but it's not lived up to the hype at all. Yeah the supporters have to bring the atmosphere but the design definitely has brought issues too.

Carnage in South Stand at half time. I went down 10 mins ago early to use toilet and or order drinks. 1st lager came and then every Beer machine started playing up. I spent 20 mins waiting for my drink, while all the bar staff were just faffing about. Queues were massive, food was still getting served but the ale was at a standstill unless you wanted a can of cider. Barely anyone managed to get a beer at half time, and big disappointment, given I’d have hoped things would have improved since the test events. Ha, one of the young bar staff was pouring pints into different pints to make up a pint and genuinely tried to give me a pint which was 50% ale and 50% froth! Don’t even have an Everton victory to take away the bitter taste of the half time service.

Three games in, turnstiles OK for the SW upper. Got in for 7.45, missed Z Cars as went for a piss in the shambolic bogs.
Inside same as usual, pinch point in the corner. Retail unit open again today and taking orders. Atmosphere meh, but that's us not the stadium, too many people heading down early and coming back late for HT for my liking.

Our seats for the evening!

We got in early but had no trouble getting in, drinks or food, all went smoothly for us. Walked back to Moorfields, train was packed but it was only two stops for Brunswick. Apart from Everton Evertoning it up it was a great night.

West Ham fans were excellent. Sit in upper south and other than the goal it was so flat from our side. Shame

What's the south lower like overall?

No different then Goodison. Half the fanbase have been priced out and half the people who go the game now sit in total and utter silence all game and every game.

Lower West really quiet, except for me & a few others or after we scored. Most of them sat there in silence like they were at the Pictures.
