Couldn’t make the game tonight. Can’t re-sell Club View tickets, can’t pass on to other ST holders, upshot of it= two empty seats tonight.

Itls something that needs sorting out: problem is that the club dont control ANYTHING at that new stadium. All outsourced.

The private sector in it's most naked greed like form is running that stadium and you can tell.

The myth of Goodison persists it seems. People act like it was some magical cauldron of atmosphere and noise. Most of the time it was dead silent. From what I have heard so far (including on headphones if I am working) when HD gets going it sounds magnificent. But Evertonians need something to actually get them going. So it is the same as the old place in that regard. Still looks fabulous though, I can't wait to get there!

Goodison had a terrible atmosphere and this place is just as bad. Always amazed me how so many people can sit in silence for the majority of the game. Almost impressive considering how many thousand there are in attendance.

Goodison was always like this too. Our fans are just some of the quietest in the league. People will say it's loud when it's get going and that's true, but it's for about 3 chants per game.

Doubt I'll try it again. Got out 2 busses waiting with a few hundred queuing. Currently walking back to the Strand. Only 939 I've seen is going to the ground.

Always needs a bad ref decision to get it going, it’s been like that for years. Terrible.

A stadium that size gets eerie when it's all quiet (bar maybe away section).

Was at Mansfield and tonight and all game it's just the away fans singing with the home end piping up once or twice. Don't know if it just needs a bit of time to get more singers together but the home ends were so lifeless in both games i've been.

No different then Goodison. Half the fanbase have been priced out and half the people who go the game now sit in total and utter silence all game and every game.

Came across as usual: the away fans sound way way more louder than Everton fans - even in when they're in full voice.

I think this stadium has been built with the best interests of the opposition in mind!

It wasn't great but we weren't exactly inspired. Wasn't until the ref gave some stinkers that it kicked up.
