New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

Heard something around that the Friedken Group may be looking at binning off the Walton hall park facility for the ladies/under 21s in favour of utilising BMD instead,as a sentimentalist I would have loved Goodison to have been considered for that, even a "scaled down" version,I know all the plans have now gone through for the redevelopment and community/supported living housing,I know maybe not a financially viable idea and that is why I'm probably just a sentimental old fool!

Thought they might move out of Walton park read the council were considering charging thousands of pounds in rates they were going to introduce. Bet some kopite in council come up with that one..

Can anyone give me a sense of how high and how far back from the pitch are the Upper Tier seats ?
This was put up on here a few years ago, to give an idea of how much bigger the new place will be. Assuming it's still accurate, the top of upper tiers will make the Top Balcony look like its right on top of the pitch

I remember standing outside the site about 18 months and thinking "kin hell, this place is huge". 😅 Goodison suddenly started looking a lot more like Kenilworth Road in comparison.

I legit don't understand why they've put the away supporters in such a good spec. We've adapted so many great elements from Goodison why on earth did we not do the same with this and put the away supporters in one of the corners of the east or west stands?
Totally agree, I think it’s bizarre. The Park End has been great because there’s no away support there. I’m sure it’s also been a big boost to the team having only home support behind both goals.
