The best bit for me is the almost replication of the old Goodison Road outer brick facade.
That's what's called a nod to the past.

I’m especially pleased they got rid of the giant ‘Everton’ in the glass on this end. I’ve never liked the typeface used in the logo.

Not only that but they just won another trophy 2 days ago yet are still obsessed with what the elders do, they seriously need to starting charging for rent such as how deep in their heads we are

I like the tweaks to the open areas around the stadium, it looks more like the traditional open areas around Albert Dock and book-ends the whole waterfront.

Ye know what. I love goodison, the feel and the history . Been my ground since I was a 6 year old in the boys pen. But watching that video gave me goosebumps. This is going to be some stadium and a great location.

It puts a slight dampener on it for me.

He said the typeface was just a placeholder, never a final thing.
