Does sound more like TFG protecting / hedging their investment more than Dan’s billionaire buddy’s doing a whip.

I suspect its a decent investment, given the checks he's been given at the club mate - but as Jacko was saying - there may be Nelson Dock at play here, there could be significant infrastructure assets at play here - BMD (The Everton Stadium Company) and Nelson potentially.
