I've changed my vote. Everyone was pleased because they weren't 777, but I'm now getting serious mingebag vibes from them, and 'not being 777' should never be the yardstick to measure competence.

Even more worrying than their mingebag strategy is the utterly disjointed approach to transfers, which will see us stockpile players in one position, whilst continuing to neglect positions that have been neglected for years.

They have also spent all summer trying to save pennies with their 2005 player valuations, only for us to become complete desperados as the deadline approaches, and we end up buying yet another centre back, who also happens to be old, crocked, and expensive!

We`re turning Japanese, I think we`re turning Japanese, I really think so.

For me , they should not have abolished the DoF position .
The new set up appears cumbersome and ill advised .
I would have preferred them to appoint the best DoF they could attract ( someone of the calibre of Rangnick) .
Dismissed Moyes with thanks at the end of the season, and allowed the DoF to appoint a manager of his choosing to work with. Hopefully a manager who was able to attract players to sign for Everton and offset a little our lack of current appeal due to the perception of being a permanently troubled club.
At this point they have , to use yank terminology,’ dropped the ball ‘.
As a club we are confused and muddled once again , and there is no sign of any purposeful direction away from the financial side .

Its possible this thread will take off in the coming days if things continue as they are which brings me back to Marc Watts.

Given Mr Watts leadership position within the club and inside the TFG organisation then its a head scratcher that he has literally become an invisible man.

I think this will be a topic that could and should be explored further given the frustration regarding transfer strategy and execution.
