We are going after top players that won’t be cheap. It’s not like the friedkins are in the negotiation room. They are providing the funds it’s our recruitment team/moyes that are letting us down
They hired them, and therefore they are responsible for making sure they have the appropriate folks running the club. Right now the people they have in place are doing a poor job, they look like a bunch of amateurs.

But they’re not amateurs. They are experienced highly regarded professionals. Friedkins did what any club should wish for. We have the budget we have the finances under control. The fact people are angry about the group that saved us from financial ruin is insane. A bunch of babies here

I doubt the Friedkin are overly concerned with Everton at the moment, we are just one among their corporate group .
They have a devolved administration system tasked with running Everton . They broad brush the strategy and the rest is up to the various line managers to provide and manage the solutions.
They will no doubt assess the performance of the company at the end of the season.
We are firmly in a corporate world now .

Sunderland spent £114m so far and lost last 3 pre season games including games vs hull and 3 nil to hearts.

But we are apparently miles behind all the other teams.
We've spent over £50m and we've lost our last three pre season games including one vs Blackburn, so I'm not quite sure what your point is? Are you suggesting we should be benchmarking ourselves against newly promoted Sunderland?

People are angry that we are going into a new stadium and new season ill prepared. It shouldn’t be the case but right now it most certainly looks that way. The club needs to address the concerns, Moyes is speaking out about it but he should not be the mouthpiece for the club in this area, the people who were brought in should be, but they look like a bunch of amateurs.

We beat port vale before going US (but that’s just me being pedantic).

My point is there’s been lots of posts how other teams are buying loads of players and wouldn’t be losing games to the likes of Blackburn etc so are ahead of us in preparing for the season (suggesting it’s another relegation scrap etc).

Except most haven’t bought loads, and lots of them are also losing game after game (Newcastle as well for example).

If they've made a mistake, it's giving Moyes too much of a say. He didn't want to work with a DOF so we got rid of Thelwell and the role. This wasn't the time to do it, just before a massive shakeup, with part of the team that is replacing Thelwell not even in post yet! Frankly i think it was bonkers and we should have given Thelwell an extension as soon as the takeover was completed and at least got through this season before we decided to do a complete 180.

Ooower, if these pair (Dan and Ryan) rock up for the Roma match, will they be boo’d or applauded?

Will a new clique of happy clappers emerge or will the fan’s frustration be on show for them to experience?

Loudly applauded because chronically online Top Bloos don’t come close to representing all Evertonians.

This is true of every subject you can think of. The opinion you get from trawling message boards and social media is much different than you get from the general public.

Yes, 300 negative people online versus actual match goers totally different response. Haters of everything about Everton in the minority really.
