Why ? I don't understand the obsession with folk hearing from the owners. Hearing Kinnear this week was good enough for me. He's their mouthpiece effectively. It's really no big deal as I see it.

I’ll stick to evaluating the owners on the decisions they make that affect the team such as stabilising our finances, bringing in Moyes, Alcaraz, and this summer. Their attendance at matches, even this one, isn’t all that relevant. Owners at matches can be a distraction, too.

I think it’s right that they weren’t there today, and if they made a conscious decision to not attend, it was correct. They’ve not been part of our history, they are our future. I’m sure they’ll be at the first game at The Dixie.
