Everything has been positive about them so far (Let's disregard their faux pas over the new stadium naming for the time being), anything negative about our club is from the previous owners, we should give them plenty of time, this summer is huge for them and they have to deliver.

We know how impatient (rightly!) our fanbase is. Their big test is if things don't improve on the pitch, another 2-3 years of what we've suffered over recent years and it will be them who inevitably get the blame - that is what we do and how will they cope with that criticism? I can see some of their 'feel good' actions like retaining Goodison for the women may well get reversed, particularly if attendances don't rise much (use it or lose it!) - just look at the cutbacks Ratcliffe is doing at commercial powerhouse Utd, much of it petty and vindictive to be fair. It will be naive to believe that this American group will continue pumping funds into unprofitable parts of the business with no progress on the pitch from their investment.

Anyway, good luck to TFG, they will need it. Goodbye Goodison (I will make the effort to see the ladies when I can). After tomorrow another huge chapter in our history begins, perhaps as big as 1892...COYB!!

About corriere dello sport, Ryan Friedkin will attend Roma vs Milan, while Dan might attend Everton vs Southampton.

Not seen any footage of the new ownership being there which would be a surprise

Can you blame them?
I don't...but it will eventually have a significant impact on us. If we are truly ambitious and wanting European football, then TFG is not the answer unfortunately. Rules are clear, and you cant own 2 clubs playing in the same competition. They have made it clear, even before today than roma is their prioritiy. For now I take it so that we get more stability into the football club. Longer term, we may need a different owner that is fully invested into the club.

Well it would just confirmed they care more about roma than us unfortunately

They bought us in a distressed state. They have sorting the longterm debt. New fast sponsorship of the stadium.

The cancellation of the Goodison Legacy project and to keep Goodison for the women is so they don't have to plough money into that project.

Looks like they want to flip us and make a decent profit.
