Blimey. That really is a bullet dodged. Moshiri really did want to just flush us like a giant blue turd. What might have been eh?

A-CAP has suspended the sale of Standard de Liège, a criminal investigation has opened at Genoa, and the future of all the clubs in the crumbling 777 Partners empire could soon be in the hands of US regulators.josimarfootball.com
Tin Foil hat I think mate, I struggle with the cause and direct effect aspect of the first land war in Europe since WWII with whether someone gets a yellow, a red, a goal ruled for offside etc in a football match. In that same time we’ve also had a couple of goals rules for offside and on pitch penalties overturned by VAR.Tin foil hat time maybe, but are we getting more favourable ref decisions since the links to Russia have left the club?
Appreciate we still get some howlers against us, especially that favour the sly clubs, but Tarkowski’s yellow, Pickford on The Uruguayan Andy Carroll ignored (despite being essentially the same as D.V. Dead’s challenge), the pen yesterday, all seem to be decisions that 6 months ago definitely would not go our way.
Or is it just decisions ‘evening themselves out’

They couldn’t do anything about Pickford on Nunez as the ref already stopped play, otherwise the ref and the media would have had a field day with that.Tin foil hat time maybe, but are we getting more favourable ref decisions since the links to Russia have left the club?

C'est chic.
If there is a global recession I think it actually be coming at the right time in terms of Everton rather than 'Everton that'. If it came a year or less ago we be in the shitter. Possibly stadium not being finished and a new owner an impossibility rather than a reality. Now the stadium is done, new owners and a far better place financially. Suddenly the club should be able to ride out a global recession comfortably probably even better than most, while it could have ended us less than 12 months agoAs we know,.the ukrainian war has had a huge detrimental effect on the Moshiri project when he was backed by usmanov. Now we are on the verge of a global recession, or even the return of the great depression...in this scenario, it is highly unlikely that we will get a naming deal for the new stadium...there is always seem to be something in the way for us to come back amongst the pl elite. I know that this is just football and our lifes will probably be impacted far more with this tariffs situation. Is it going to be another "Everton that" moment...
They said that after the Van Dyke one too, only to later say he could have been sent off. They couldn’t do anything about Pickford on Nunez as the ref already stopped play, otherwise the ref and the media would have had a field day with that.
Not sure how...I am thinking that the only way you could sent a player off when game is stopped is for violent conduct. A missed tackle is not violent conduct, no matter how bad is the tackle. I guess you would have to assume that it wasn't a bad tackle but violent conduct which is over interpreting the rules really. They said that after the Van Dyke one too, only to later say he could have been sent off.

What a bizarre thought process.Tin foil hat time maybe, but are we getting more favourable ref decisions since the links to Russia have left the club?
