He made the weong appointments, we need managers who specialise in rebuilds such as Poch, Ragnick and Galtier, not big names who only come in for a year or two then leave.
So we’re after a young progressive manager that must be willing to stay for 5 years although some Will want him out by Christmas.
He must have not had anything to do with the dark side and only ever said very nice things about us ,never been relegated ,has an impressive cv of winning things and must come up with a new catchy slogan in his first press conference, so we all say he gets us and we all back him.
He must make sure his wife is happy to relocate up North and can’t get homesick after 3 months. He must win a minimum of 8 wins out of the first 12 games so the crowd/ground doesn’t turn toxic while playing 1970,s Brazilian style football with youthful Hungary players bought by a Dof in the next 4 weeks.
He must keep Duncan on as his assistant as well as most of the old players, his dad can also offer Encouragement for his sons roots as he stood alongside Bill on the boys pen.
He must promise not to play any player that Is provided on a list from GOT contributers and never ever say the word phenomenal win, lose or draw.
When we score he must be seen to run the the St end and slide on his knees while picking up the odd ball boy on his way and if we ever lose he must be seen to throttle the players as they come off the field and threaten to see their kids.
Any thing else I have missed that will appease everyone so we don’t get the banner waving, booing fans before a ball is kicked.

Poch has earned his way into the elite jobs, where squad overhauls aren't required. Galtier is the only realistic name out of that bunch to me because I think he likes the challenge

Anyone seen this? Apparently Usmanov is pushing for Rafael...

But in a post on social media, Balague has suggested that Usmanov is keen on Benitez to take the reins at Goodison and referred to the country's sixth richest person, according to the Sunday Times, as "ambitious".

IF he was ambitious surely youd be after Conte or managers of that ilk NOT Rafael F`in Benitez

I'm sure that's how his advisor's will spin it when he doesn't get the job that it was him who turned us down

That's exactly how it will be spun, especially by RS, but in reality he'd jump at the chance, he's desperate for it, hopefully the club have seen a tiny glimpse of just how bad it could be if he's appointed and if we had a bad run of form, maybe the bedsheets gave the board that bit of reality they were missing and that's why it seems to have quietened, hopefully

Conte is a pipe dream. Way more so than Carlo who was let go from Napoli. Conte WALKED AWAY from the title winners.

I think it’s because he knows if Conte turned down spurs he won’t be coming to Everton.

Conte would just do an Ancelotti and Benitez’s CV decimates Galtiers

That doesn’t mean I particularly want Rafael btw

Regardless of whether he gets appointed or not what, on Earth, legs you too think Rafael bleedin Benitez would be a "suit" for this club?

Loves the city

Family lives here so wont be living out of a suitcase or missing family overseas during travel restrictions

Will know the fans largely dont like him so will need to work hard to turn opinions of him around

If you asked me is Nuno or even someone like Favre a good fit for this club and I would say no.

I think there are only a handful of managers out there that fit this club like a glove in terms of the fanbase / dogs of war attitude of a rocking Goodison - Simeone & Conte being the best and we are unlikely to get either.
